Overnight paving planned for Nov. 16 on Highway 4 near Cameron Lake

Drivers can be prepared for delays on Highway 4 east of Port Alberni as overnight paving is scheduled to take place Nov. 16.

Mainroad Mid Island Contracting announced that crews will be performing overnight paving on Highway 4 along Cameron Lake east of Port Alberni. Work will start Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. and should be completed by Friday, Nov. 17 at 3 a.m.

Traffic will be single-lane alternating along Cameron Lake during the work. A pilot vehicle will be present.

Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and watch for roadside workers.
