On Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 6:30 pm, at the Toquaht Nation office, 1971 Peninsula Road in Ucluelet, the public is invited to comment on the Toquaht Official Community Plan Act.
The Plan and accompanying documentation is available to the public for viewing during the office hours at 1971 Peninsula Road in Ucluelet until the Public Hearing. The plan is also available for online viewing at https://toquaht.ca/programs-services/lands-resources/official-community-plan/.
Under Toquaht’s Planning and Land Use Management Act, the Toquaht Nation is required to have an Official Community Plan (OCP) in place. An OCP is a statement of policies and objectives that lay out our growth objectives and goals, and guide decisions-making about planning, land use management and economic development. The OCP sets out pour priorities for our growing Nation.
