Pursuant to Sections 285 and 286 of the Local Government Act, Notice is hereby given that the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) intends to dispose of land via Lease Agreement at the Long Beach Airport CYAZ in Tofino, BC, with the following:
Long Beach Recreational Co-operative at “Lot LS-L2024001” 235, 265, 285, 390, 398, and 635 Golf Course Drive for a ten (10) year and three (3) month term starting April 01, 2024, at a rate of $56,300/year plus GST (prorated to $14,075.00 – to reflect the initial three (3) month term) and yearly BC CPI increases. The purpose of the lease is a nine-hole public golf course and associated uses, including a clubhouse, restaurant and lounge, mini golf course, driving range, the service and rental of golf sporting goods, a 76-site public campground, temporary accommodation for not more than ten (10) employees of the public golf course and associated uses.
Tofino Air at Kiosk #2 - 188 Airport Road for a two (2) year and six (6) month term starting January 01, 2024, at a rate of $4070.87/year plus GST (prorated to $2035.43 to reflect the initial six (6) month term) and yearly CPI increases. The purpose of this lease is for an office and check-in counter for airline and charter services and purposes directly related.
Any individual or corporation wishing to enter into a lease with the Regional District for this property must submit, in writing, their proposal and acceptance of all of the terms and conditions as outlined in the lease agreement to the Regional District. The proposal must be delivered to the Regional District, at the address shown below, no later than 4:00 pm on March 01, 2024. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be considered.
This is not a call for tenders. No contractual or other obligation will arise between the Regional District and any person that responds to this Notice unless and until a written agreement has been duly executed relating to an approved proposal. The Regional District reserves the right in its absolute discretion to accept or reject any proposal submitted in response to this Notice.
