Henry (Hank) Kitchell has been found safe after the 61-year-old was the subject of a missing person alert on Monday (Oct. 24).

Kitchell left for a solo camping trip on Oct. 18 and was headed to Fairy Lake near Port Renfrew for a night before heading into Carmanah Park. The alert was issued after he was supposed to return home on Oct. 21 but didn’t.
