The District of Ucluelet will be completing annual water flushing of all District water pipes beginning on January 29, 2024. Water flushing is a safe and effective form of regular maintenance that helps to reduce sediment that accumulates in our municipal water system. During the flushing periods, there may be significant impacts on water quality and appearance, including discolouration and loss of water pressure.
The District has been divided into 14 zones, each with its own flushing date. Flushing in each zone will occur between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, however, the schedule is subject to change as some zones may require additional time.
