Peter McCully has been a broadcaster and publisher on both of Canada’s coasts and has owned a small newspaper and run an advertising agency along the way. Peter is an amateur photographer and has served as bass drummer for several Scottish Pipe Bands.
Andrew Bailey arrived at the Westerly News as a reporter and photographer in January, 2012. He became the newspaper’s editor in November 2015. He enjoys covering all the news and happenings west of Sutton Pass and reflecting on West Coast life in his weekly Behest of the West column. The University of Northern British Columbia alum spends his free time taking his kids to the beach and being disappointed by the Toronto Blue Jays.

Nora O’Malley studied journalism at Mount Royal University in Calgary. She’s been published in: WHERE Canadian Rockies Magazine, Surfer’s Path, Gripped The Climbing Magazine, and Homes & LIving Magazine Vancouver. She also worked as a staff copywriter for Quiksilver Australia and Mountain Equipment Co-op. Nora loves newsprint, surfing, and the Canadian Rockies.
