A Hospice thank you

Dear Editor In December many of our friends and neighbors placed the names of loved ones on the Hospice “Celebrate a Life” trees to remember and honour those especially missed during the holiday season.

A sincere thank you to the Tofino and Ucluelet Post Offices and the Yuulu?il?ath Community Services Centre for hosting Hospice remembrance trees. A peaceful ceremony to respectfully honour the names from the trees took place Monday Jan 14th. Thank you to the Hospice Volunteers Dennis Kay, Barb Campbell, Dede Monette, Janine Croxall, Johanne Loiselle, Robert Kowatsch, Andres Kowatsch, Jan Janzen and Laura Distaso for helping with the trees, ornaments and/or ceremony. A special thanks to Common Loaf Bake Shop for providing lunch for the Remembrance Tree Ceremony participants as well as to Sobo for the use of their fireplace patio during the ceremony.

Sincerely,

Thank you!
