Edward, Bernice Loraine passed away in Ucluelet on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 86.
Predeceased by son Craig and brothers Douglas and Peter.
Survived by loving husband Barry; children Bruce (Betty), Debra, Douglas (Kathy) and Juanita; grandchildren Michael, Adam, Conrad, Christopher, Lindy and Michelle as well as 5 great grandchildren; siblings Jean and Joanne, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Born on the Prairies, Bernice moved to Port Coquitlam where she met and married Barry and raised their family. In 1968, the family moved to Central America to Minister. They came back in 1970 where they moved to Abbotsford, then in 1976 moved to Ucluelet.
Bernice was active in the community, working at various locations, running a Bed and Breakfast and even working as a Librarian for the city of Ucluelet for a number of years. Faith was very important to her. Bernice loved walking the Coast until her health problems made it difficult to continue.
