PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Use Permit

Pursuant to Section 494 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that the District of Ucluelet Council will consider the following Temporary Use Permit during the October 10, 2024, Regular Council Meeting, which commences at 4:00 PM. This Regular Council Meeting will be held both in-person in the George Fraser Community Room in the Ucluelet Community Centre, located at 500 Matterson Drive, Ucluelet B.C. and electronically via the Zoom platform.

Applicant: Jason Bivall (Long Beach Event Co.)

Location: 329 Forbes Rd

Legal Description: PID 025926616, Lot 5, Plan VIP76147, District Lot 284, Clayoquot Land District

The purpose of this permit, in general terms, is to allow Mobile Vending use on a property zoned CD-1 (Eco-Industrial Park). The permit would allow the periodic operation of a barbeque food trailer at this location for a period of up to 3 years.

Anyone who believes this Temporary Use Permit will affect their interests may make a written submission and/or will be given an opportunity to be heard at the Regular Council Meeting as follows:

Participate by written submission: All written submissions must include your name and street address. Any submission dropped-off at the District Office or mailed must be received by 4:00 pm on the day of the Council Meeting. Written submissions are considered part of the public record pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
