Ucluelet woman wins Dodge Journey at Co-op draw

Jessica Hutchinson is the proud winner of a 2014 Dodge Journey.

Of 120 individuals gathered for the drawing, whose names had been selected from Co-op shoppers entered in the drawing, Hutchinson drew a lucky 21 at the Ucluelet Co-op on New Year’s Eve and the key opened the door to the new vehicle, which had been enticing shoppers in the parking lot with an inviting “win me.”

Hutchinson, who is the executive director of the Central Westcoast Forest Society, had been driving a 2004 Chevy. She has lived on the West Coast for over a decade.

She has never won anything as big as a car before, she said.

“I’m really really blown away .. I’m totally in shock,” she said with a wide smile.
