Did you lose a wedding ring in Tofino?

The Tofino RCMP is hoping to find the owner of a wedding ring found on Cox Bay.

"Let's get together as a community to provide a positive and fruitful outcome to this lost ring and its owner," RCMP spokesperson Corporal Alex Bérubé said through a June 6 media release.

The release explains that the ring was found by a Good Samaritan visiting the area on May 18 who contacted the RCMP detachment for help finding its rightful owner, but local efforts have come up snake eyes so far.

Details about the ring are not being made public to help ensure whoever lost it can prove ownership by providing specific details.

Anyone with any information as to who the ring might belong to is encouraged to contact the Tofino RCMP at 250-725-3242.
