The annual Nuu-chah-nulth Economic Development Corporation's annual career fair brought applicants of all ages to the Alberni Athletic Hall on April 10, 2025 to check out displays from both local and Vancouver Island-based businesses.

Haa-huu-payak Elementary School brought their singers and dancers to perform under the tutelage of Trevor Little. The youth danced to the Gratitude Song, which Little shared with the school; its meaning is "You are getting stronger and we are becoming one."
