The society will hold its first major event, a Fall Festival, on Nov. 6 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the Ucluelet Community Centre.

"We see this as the communities’ data. It’s the CBT’s role to put it together in a way that is inviting and accessible.”

I have rediscovered what it means to be in community, and for that I will always be grateful.

“If there isn’t that consistent public education delivery, then it kind of falls off the wagon a little bit.”

She had eight daughters, seven sons, 76 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

“I’m honoured because this is a town that is full of volunteers,” Tim Webb told the Westerly.

“It’s a great community grant for individuals that have a small idea but a powerful idea that brings people together,” said Brooke Wood.
