West Coast set to ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ on Saturday

Food Bank on the Edge has three easy and safe ways for folks to donate

Instead of the usual fanfare, Food Bank on the Edge and Ucluelet RCMP have come up with three easy and safe ways for folks to donate to the annual Stuff the Cruiser on Saturday, Dec. 5. First, purchase a Co-op gift card and let them do the shopping for you.

Second, make an e-transfer to foodbankedge@gmail.com; (don’t forget to let them know if you would like a tax receipt).

Or, take a look at their Wish List and pick up a few items during your regular shopping trip.

The RCMP will be on hand as well as Food Bank volunteers on Saturday, but the Food Bank is asking people kindly donate via one of the above options instead of bombarding the Co-op.

Items on the Stuff the Cruiser 2020 Wish List are: Coop gift cards, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Pasta & Sauce, Cereal, Crackers, Soup, Juice Boxes, Toilet paper, Paper Towels, Pet Food, Laundry Soap, Deodorant, Shampoo, Soap, Dish Soap, Toothpaste and Baking Supplies.
