The sun was shining and the Easter bunny's treats were bountiful on Easter weekend in 2017. The Westerly News featured Rowan Soltysik of Ucluelet with a basket of sweet treats from the Big Beach Easter Egg Hunt on the front page of the paper. More photos were included inside the paper from Big Beach and the Tofino Easter Egg Hunt as well.
The 2025 Easter egg hunts will take place Saturday, April 19 at the Tofino Community Hall starting at 10 a.m. and Sunday, April 20 from 12:30-2 p.m. at Big Beach in Ucluelet. Hotel Zed is also hosting an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 20 (with a separate event for three- to five-year-olds).
