There’s a party going on at the Ucluelet Co-op’s parking lot.
Const. Marcel Midlane and his Tour de Rock Cops for Cancer fundraising team are pedalling up a storm at a Spin-A-Thon event that kicked off at 10 a.m. and will run until 5 p.m. Friday.
Locals are encouraged to check out the event, cheer on the cyclists and take in some delicious barbecue. All funds raised will go towards paediatric cancer research as well as Camp Goodtimes, a summer camp experience for children and families battling cancer.
